Our Artisans

The Dedham Exchange proudly carries on the long tradition of the Woman’s Exchange Movement in the United States to support artisans and provide a marketplace for women crafters. Our gift shop carries handcrafted work made by about 200 artisans, mostly women based in Massachusetts.  

The boutique is filled with beautiful handmade ceramics, wood bowls and boxes, jewelry, hand knit items, baby quilts and other quilted pieces, leather goods, purses and cosmetic bags, painted vases, glass trays, woven textiles, and so much more. Our selection of unique gifts is always changing. Some of the artisans and their work are showcased here.  We always like to know the story behind that special gift or keepsake.
