Meet Sara Siciliano - Our Featured Artist this Month

Sara is a talented quilter and sewer. She sews and quilts many kinds of items including backpacks for adults and children, nursery banners and welcome banners, placemats, tote bags, walker bags, cosmetic bags and other accessories, table runners, bibs, aprons and more.

In high school, her mother taught her to sew, and Sara made clothes for herself. She started quilting after her children were grown and she had retired. She rediscovered her love for sewing and began sewing and quilting for friends and family.

Sara enjoys the challenge of a new project, learning a new technique and choosing fun fabrics to make each item unique.  She loves variety and develops new ideas and patterns continuously. Sara hopes that others find as much joy in using the items she makes as she does in making them.
